bol.com is one of the clients I make social content for on a daily base. My team and I create all kinds of always on content; static posts for Facebook and Instagram and video content for TikTok, Reels and Youtube.

The platform that brings the most creativity is TikTok. We experimented with a lot of different formats; ditched some after a while and continued with others. That's the amazing thing about TikTok and socials in general; the room you have to experiment.

One of the greatest things about the bol.com socials is the super engaged audience. One prime example of this is Marcel. Marcel is a cat brush that we named this way in a TikTok for shits and giggles. The viewers went crazy and demanded more Marcel content. Fast forward a couple of months and the product has officially been named Marcel on the bol.com webshop, made it's appearance on the homepage and a TV commercial and fan accounts have been made. That's the power of social media for me.

Next to always on content we also create content for broader bol.com campaigns like the summer campaign, back to school or sinterklaas and christmas. This is a fun way to use our expertise and use it for a slightly more commercial cause. Very educational and a lot of fun! For the videos I got to direct professionally for the first time, which was an awesome experience.
